Martha de Medici Chiarini

I am a professional genealogist with over 40 years experience. Originally from Georgia (USA), I became curious about where my family originated from only after moving to the NYC metro area and meeting people who were first and second generation USAmericans. Having grown up with people whose families had lived in the states for generations – this fascinated me and set me on a path to discover where we came from. Like anyone with a new ‘hobby’ I thought it would take a few months to find my roots and I’d be done. 42 years later, I still research my tree in-between clients.

Claudia Chiarini

I was born and reared in Firenze, Toscana, Italy. While I (like most Italians) was not interested in my genealogy I am interested in helping Italians who live elsewhere find their roots. My main interests are culture, food, history and language. I’ve found all of these are really important when researching and telling family stories. Italian being my mother language and living here all of my life gives us the advantage of knowing how to get things done in a timely manner.
